Last end of week has been complicated between Cameroonian carriers, coming to deliver goods to Centrafric, and authorities of this country.
Because around Garoua-Boulaï, an unclear matter took place between the CAR Gendarmerie, plus FACA (Car Army), and the Treasurer General of the Cameroon National Transport Union. Finally, gendarmes tackled him.
This triggered anger of carriers, till a one-day-strike, on the Saturday.
Ibrahim Yaya, the chair of the union, next met in Bangui, both the chairman of the Centrafrican Road Chartering Bureau (BARC), and the Premier Mathieu Sarandji. Conclusion of these meetings, the CAR PM pledged to undertake the release their colleague, the point of contention, within 48 hours.
That why since Monday, things returned to normal.
Ibrahim Yaya said he had confidence in the PM to keep his promise.
