While leaders of our society are gathering to talk political and security situation of our country down here, people continue to be killed. Like lately, in Bambari and Grimari, with new fresh bloody clashes.
Not a day goes by without hearing that a centrafrican died somewhere in the country. Especially one of those who are active part of the foundations of our economic development. Because, we lose sight of some things, that is, our economic development is rural.
So far, real questions to wonder are, how can we stop this bleeding? Are we there, just to count the deaths? Will the populations be happy to consider such people acting like? Will they have to protect themselves against barbarians coming from another time?
How long will this DDRR process on release last, to compel the barbarians of the republic to lay down their arms and return to the negotiating table, as well the restoration of the army throughout the territory?
When will UN along with a contingent of 12,000 troops learn that, people who have already endured so much suffering, are hoping for peace? When will the Power realize that the STATE is not an abstract entity, but an active organization. And above all, it has to exercise full sovereignty on its territory, and to protect its people; and not to lose them every passing day.
In despair, how long will this crisis last?
In a recent past, repeatedly, many of our authorities failing to take action for Education, had let go persisting “white years” of no schooling; with in addition, strikes, lack of political willingness to invest in leading-edge sectors, able to ensure a bright future for all.
Unfortunately, after over two decades of regular crisis here, we are there currently, still facing harsh realities of everyday life.
If you bear in mind the average age of those who took up arms to kill people daily in CAR, and facilitating the entry of foreign mercenaries and weapons into the country, and more giving head to nonsense, you can easily understand why our politicians are visionless…
Truly speaking, it becomes clear that the fundamental problem hidden behind all this fuss and backward situation, is the big lack of education.
Therefore, this is not a new problematic, but an old one, whose it’s origins go back to two decades : a widespread less Education.
It is time to seriously consider all the aspects of the failings of the mainstream education system in this country, as well all key sectors of the Republic.
The DDR /DDRR process, can fail too, if not run with a minima of educational level. Otherwise...
Time will tell …
