BANGUI (LNC) – Heavy rainfall Monday has caused severe damage throughout the city. Leaving many parts of the capital innundated.
Yesterday, torrential rain hit Bangui. And of course as always, causing enormous material damage. Dozen and dozen of houses collapsed, leaving hundreds inhabitants homeless.
With the sixth district particularly badly affected. And more specifically Sapéké and M’pètènè IV, two suburbs sadly renowned to be flooded at each rainy fall. Residents of the sector accuse a pipe under renovation, but still not finished. Anyway, only a secondary cause, because sewage systems Bangui remaining a fantasy.
