The first round of qualifying in the Group 4, played today at the Bangui’s Sports Hall, between CAR against DR CONGO ended with an easy victory of Congolese : 85-64.

It should be noted that incidents happened during the play. Close to the end of 3rd quarter time, the game was stopped for few minutes, due to things thrown at the Congolese side by the public. Even a CAR Official broke a chair on the table of supervisors of FIBA.

The mighty cheer burst from the crowd with “Keep our spirits up!” was not enough to offset the disaster of the CAR team.

The return leg, still in Bangui, will take place tomorrow on Monday.
