Anight to remember, seeing the absolute triumph of the female Centrafrican singer and performer, IDYLLE MAMBA, awarded as the BEST ARTIST of the Sub-region of Central Africa, men and women alike.

The stunning IDYLLE MAMBA received the award from hands of Roger MILLA, one of giants of world football.

Coming to get the award, the Sublime Lady was accompanied by a young Centrafrican, SPARROW, who was nominated for “Best Newcomers”.

her acceptance speech:

“Hello everybody,

Frankly, I did note write a note, because for me it was the opportunity to see all of these stars, gathered here this evening. It is an opportunity to meet them too.

My immediate thought goes to my country, the Centrafrican Republic, which is facing very difficult moments, for already a long time.

So, when I watch what is going on in western Cameroon, that frightens me. And I would like to draw the attention of the Cameroonian people today, to remain very careful, because I do not want here, what is badly taking place in my homeland; it is not a good thing.

I came here with my young friend SPARROW, nominated  in the category of  “REVELATION OF CENTRAL AFRICA”. He is a young artist who is really talented. And I do know that his future is assured! I share this trophy with him, with all the Centrafrican people, and also with the Cameroonian population, who supports me constantly, and who had adopted me,  for nearly eight years now.

I thank you from the bottom of my heart!”
