BANGUI (LNC) – Population in the vicinity of the SEGA, the state company managing the slaughterhouses in Bangui, for years, complain about the inconvenience caused by presence of peuhl shepherds and their herds around the 6th district. So, to improve the image of the area, and to advance peaceful coexistence, the city hall of the 6th district, with support of the MINUSCA, are going to launch an Operation called “Support for the process of restoring social cohesion and free circulation in the city of Bangui and Bimbo”.
It was urgent to act, because recently, the image of the district has been tarnished by obnoxious cannibal-crimes of peuhls shepherds committed by Anti-Balaka armedmen, near the SEGA’s area. The zone of the slaughterhouses is notorious well known for its insalubrity, more, since the cattle’s market has been is installed, as said temporarily within the SEGA, lot of and various people roamed around, cattle included.
PROMOTING THE LIVING TOGETHER
About sixty people, Professionals: butchers, shepherds, storekeepers, but also local residents, gathered on Tuesday and Wednesday for, according to the city hall,“Talking together, thinking about the best course of action for a living together and cohabitation around the SEGA’s business.”
