The Lakosso’s motto saying “THE DEAD CITY CONTINUES” was not followed by the people.
Note that this demonstration of “Dead city” had not been respected in the district of KAM5.
The population resumes its daily activities throughout the different areas of Bangui, even at the district of “Combattant” the epicentre of the demonstration on yesterday.
Shopping centres, Banks, Administrative offices returned to normal. The traffic restarted after the barricades were removed. The last ones were out at the end of the morning.
Enforcement officials and Police officers patrol in at-risk neighbourhoods.
However for many inhabitants, “The government must assume its responsibilities, after the strong signal of Yesterday. It has been elected by the people to protect them.”
The only hang-up here, is that most of the city‘s primary and secondary schools are closed. Parents fearing for safety of their children, kept them from attending classes.
