Armed gangs were reported at 40 km from Bambari (towards Grimari) at the village called Ndepou. Coming from Bambari, and have been identified as armedmen from Seleka militia. They took out inhabitants of their homes, held a couple to indicate them the road toward Bakala. And after the information got, they slain them cutting their throats.
From Yakétché, a village lies 27 km of Grimari, to village Kotanguinza ( at 35 km of Bambari) in the direction of Grimari, the area is on high alert.
And since last Sunday, members of the Anti-Balaka rebel group, with homemade weapons, are already on their toes for fight.
From their side, the Seleka armed group members, looted civilian houses, stole livestock before torching everything. Village Ndepou vanished.
Monday the day after, inside the area of Bakala, three hours long, these Seleka gunmen took over the region. They captured villagers working in their fields, forcing them to lie on the ground, for at least fire and shoot the lot. After committing these crimes, they head to Bakala.
Aware of the threat, the Bakala’s inhabitants fled into the bush.
