BANGUI (LNC) — Since last Tuesday, health care professionals in Centrafric, nurses, midwives, and other paramedical staffs have been on 3 days strike throughout the territory.
Reasons of this strike, the lack of recognition of their diplomas by the Centrafrican public service, as well as the reclassifying in ranks and levels of their colleagues from the other disciplines.
According to strikers, such injustice must be corrected as soon as possible, by the application of the general civil service regulations, and should be fulfilled without discrimination of any kind.
This very successful general strike is paralysing many hospitals in the country.
