BANGUI (LNC) — The Transitional Constitutional Court comes on this Tuesday to confirm Faustin Touadera as the new president of CAR, according to the results the presidential election held on February 14.
So, Faustin-Archange Touadera is now officially, the new President of the Central African Republic With 693.864 votes (62,69 %) against 412.881 (37,31 %) for Anicet-Georges Dologuele, as Zacharie Ndouba, the chairman of the Court just stated it, in confirmation of what the National Authority of the Election (ANE) published previously.
REJECTION OF ALL APPEALS
The Court in its considerations, has rejected all petitions for nullity put down by several political parties having supported Anicet-Gorges Dologuele during the second round.
Anicet-Gorges Dologuele who charged his opponent for a “large scale of organised fraud” and “corruption” organized by the interim president Catherine Samba-Panza, associated closely with the most members of the same Political Transition during the second presidential round, finally refrained from bringing an appeal, ” in the interest of the country“.
A FIRST TIME IN CENTRAFRIC
Democratic elections had never been held in Centrafric since its independence from France. All done were only masquerades, cheated either from inside, or from outside.
Nevertheless, this presidential election freshly held, was merged too in “huge fraud“, but due to economic reasons, nevertheless, the Court choose to validate, opting for the cancellation of the first round of the general elections, which took place in the same catastrophic conditions.
“We’re gonna have to suck it up,“ a local expert of politics in CAR said.
The newly elected President does not reflects Centrafrican’s democratic maturity, as being as, under heavy suspicions of frauds and manipulation.
Up to him now, to a credibility as president.
